The Hoyas are having another solid lacrosse season with aspirations of a national championship.

HOYA BLUE UPCOMING EVENTS

NCAA MEN'S LACROSSE PLAYOFFS
Navy at #8 Hoyas
Sunday, May 14, 3:30pm, Multi-Sport Field
Tickets $6 for Students
On Sale Now at McDonough, Wednesday-Friday (9am-5pm)

Just a quick reminder to those who will be around on Sunday: there is a HUGE NCAA lacrosse playoff game between Georgetown at Navy at 3:30pm (note the time change) at Multi-Sport Field, aka the Yard.  The time was changed so that College Sports Television (CSTV) can televise it nationwide.  The Hoyas beat the Midshipmen at Navy earlier this year, so come out and watch them try to do it again as they attempt to advance to the NCAA quarterfinals for the fifth straight season.

Because this is an NCAA game, student tickets are NOT free for this event.  They are $6 and can be purchased this week at McDonough from 9am to 5pm.  If there are tickets remaining, they will go on sale when doors open at the MSF at 2pm on Sunday.  To be safe, if you plan on going, you should buy tickets NOW at McDonough.  If you can't, get there early on Sunday, as there will be long lines and tickets should eventually sell out.  After that, it's standing room only.

Go Hoyas, and don't forget to wear your I BLEED HOYA BLUE shirt on Sunday to the game!

NCAA WOMEN'S LACROSSE PLAYOFFS
#3 HOYAS at Monmouth
Sunday, May 14, 1pm

The third-seeded women's team is playing for the NCAA championship as well.  On Sunday they will travel to New Jersey to take on Monmouth in the opening round.  Best of luck to the Hoya lady laxers!

THANKS FROM HOYA BLUE

Hoya Blue would like to thank all the students and everyone else who helped the club have a wildly successful 2005-06 school year.  No doubt it was a year to remember.  Don't forget to keep track of both men's and women's lacrosse teams on GUHoyas.com as they trek towards the NCAA playoffs and the Final Four.  Good luck on Finals, have a great summer, and Hoya Saxa!
